I absolutely love TAME Dance Academy! This is our 4th dance studio and now our permanent! The owners and staff are welcoming and caring. The teachers are amazing and build up and encourage each of their students. The studio is always clean and welcoming and I am so happy to have my daughter here!!!

If I can give 100 stars I would. This is my daughters 4th dance studio she has attended and this is now our permanent dance home studio. The owners Teddy and Luke are always so welcoming when you walk in with smiles and greeting you like family. The dance teachers are amazing giving the students the extra attention.

TAME Dance Academy’s curriculum is designed to teach a young dancer how to behave in a professional environment. The training is conservatory–style, with a heightened focus on technique and artistry. Daily instruction in ballet, jazz and contemporary technique are required to provide stronger foundations for the supplemental courses in hip-hop, tap and acrobatics.
Dance Level Analysis
TAME Dance Academy’s curriculum is designed to teach a young dancer how to behave in a professional environment.
Level I ages 5+
Level I is the beginning of dedicated pre-professional technical training. This level will teach students the fundamentals of ballet, jazz and contemporary dance.
Level II Ages 7+
LEVEL II begins the progression of the basic elements learned in Level I. The groundwork taught in the previous level is accompanied by more difficult movement and added details in all styles.
Level III Ages 9+
Level III students are at the point in their training where the basic exercises of an entire ballet class can be executed. Fluency in ballet terminology is required.
LEVEL IV Ages 13+
Level IV students are able to execute an entire ballet class from plies to grande allegro without hesitation. Their ballet base aids their transition into jazz and contemporary phrase work as well as choreography.
LEVEL V Ages 14+
Level V students are approaching class and rehearsals as pre-professionals. All previous knowledge learned in prior levels comes to fruition. Dancers in this level are expected to carry the groundwork laid before into much more advanced movement.

Tame Dance Academy is an amazing performing arts studio that has inspired my daughter to find her voice through dance. We started in January 2022 after leaving another dance studio due to the COVID Pandemic and a lack of instructional guidance. The TAME performing arts academy has helped my daughter improve her technique. They do an outstanding job in providing a variety of dance classes and opportunities to join their competitive dance company. What I believe sets TAME Dance Academy apart from the rest is the dedication and personable approach Luke and Teddy (owners and class Instructors) have with each student and their families. The Summer Intensive Classes for 2022 have challenged my daughter to set high goals, improve performance, and take awesome classes with guest arts. Since joining, I have seen her grow as a responsible student maintaining a high GPA while attending her dance classes. She has shown incredible improvements but what I appreciate most is how she looks forward to going to TAME and being a part of this group individuals who love the art movement, and self expression.

My daughter has been so happy since they welcomed her to TAME about a year ago. It is the environment she needed to grow. They turned her can'ts into cans and fueled her passion. She is more committed and confident since being here and I cannot thank them enough. They understand body mechanics as they are all college level graduates from major universities in dance. The technique is everything for them while understanding the importance of encouraging difficult tasks without added pressure. I cant wait to see what the future holds.
